On a tightly held inner city site, this home was carefully transformed to maximise space, natural light and everyday connection. Designed across two levels, the residence balances open family living with quiet private spaces, creating a home that feels generous while working within the limits of its urban setting. Natural light became a defining element of the design. Carefully positioned skylights and windows draw daylight deep into the home, enhancing openness, comfort and the connection between spaces.
The process required thoughtful planning and precision. Limited site access meant every stage of construction, from deliveries to detailing, needed careful coordination and close collaboration. A restrained material palette allows craftsmanship to take centre stage, with refined joinery, considered finishes and carefully resolved details creating a calm and timeless home.
The result? A compact inner city residence that feels anything but small. A home shaped by thoughtful design, intelligent construction and spaces created to be lived in for years to come.
