Oliver is the numbers guy with a builder’s mindset, bringing a rare mix of financial expertise and hands-on construction experience to every project. As Estimator at TASS, he’s the one balancing design ambitions with budget realities – ensuring clients get the best possible outcome without compromising on quality.

His career started in an entirely different world, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) & Bachelor of Communications Media Studies (Advertising) at UOW before a passion for building pulled him into construction. Swapping office life for the tools, he completed his carpentry apprenticeship in Wollongong, working across high-end residential projects before joining TASS four years ago as a carpenter. From there, he moved into a foreman role before stepping into estimating, where he’s spent the last 2.5 years fine-tuning the art of pricing and project planning.

At TASS, Oliver is more than just about the numbers – he works closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to value-engineer designs, align expectations, and set the tone for TASS’ service from day one. His deep understanding of both construction and finance makes him the perfect bridge between vision and feasibility, ensuring projects stay both achievable and exceptional.

When he’s not breaking down estimates, you’ll find him surfing, cooking, traveling, camping, or getting stuck into a bit of gardening – because whether it’s a kitchen, a campsite, or a construction site, he’s always building something.
